«ANDON, electrónica y manufactura esbelta fusionada» is the technical study by Cristian Ligña and Christian Rivadeneira (Editorial Académica Española, paperback).
The book addresses production optimisation in industrial plants by combining electronics and lean manufacturing. Ligña and Rivadeneira propose integrating the ANDON system with automation for a comprehensive plant improvement, rather than isolated adjustments to machines, increasing productivity and reducing waste.
A 252-page work published in 2015 in Spanish; its full subtitle is «Optimización del proceso de manufactura en una planta, no solo aplicando métodos de control clásicos sobre máquinas».
Aimed at engineers, technicians and students of industrial automation, and at professionals in quality and productivity management.
