«Amor y envidia» is the essay by Cristina Jarque published by Ledoria in paperback (68 pages, in Spanish).
The author explores the «family novel» of childhood to explain how we learn love and how its absence sows envy. When that tenderness does not arrive, or is directed at a sibling, rivalry appears, embodied in the story of Cain and Abel. Analysing both feelings serves, according to Jarque, to rid ourselves of what harms us.
It belongs to the Lapsus de Toledo collection, number 2. The publication dates from 2011 and the text is in Spanish.
Aimed at readers interested in philosophy, education and family relationships.
