«16 años de fotoperiodismo» is a collection of photographs by Manuel González García, published by Lunwerg Editores in paperback (189 pages, in Spanish).
The work brings together a selection of images taken over sixteen years of photojournalism in Spain, with scenes of public life and moments captured at exhibitions and events on the national scene. The cover shows a black-and-white photograph of a woman with her arms raised while a bird of prey flies above her, an image that anticipates the documentary character of the whole.
Originally published in 1993 as part of an edition linked to Diario 16 and Lunwerg, the book covers the period 1976-1993.
