«Planet Mars in Dub» is the reggae album by The Icebreakers with The Mighty Diamonds, released in 2000 on Frontline, on CD.
The album documents the collaboration between The Icebreakers and The Mighty Diamonds in a dub style: the reggae rhythms are transformed into extended, atmospheric versions full of echo and space. The cover with spaceships and an orange planet underlines that cosmic character, offering an immersive listen that combines the rhythmic base with the group's vocals.
The CD edition went on sale on 17 October 2000; the language of the songs is English.
For reggae and dub fans who enjoy collaborations between bands and vocalists, and for collectors of CDs released in the early 2000s.
