«New York-Barcelona Crossing / Vol. 2» is the jazz album by Brad Mehldau & Rossy Trio, released in 1998 by Fresh Sound New Talent on CD.
The album presents the quartet led by Brad Mehldau in a jazz repertoire crossing standards, blues and post-bop pieces. Mehldau's piano dialogues with Perico Sambeat's saxophone over the Rossy rhythm section. Among the seven tracks, «I've Told Every Little Star», «Un Poco Loco» and «No Blues» stand out.
Second instalment of the New York-Barcelona Crossing project; it was released as a single-disc audio CD on 25 May 1998.
For fans of modern jazz and post-bop, as well as followers of Brad Mehldau and the Barcelona jazz scene.
