«Most Popular Opera Chorus Vol. 1» is a compilation of opera choruses by the Rundfunk-Sinfonie-Orchester Ljubljana, released in 1990 by Pilz on CD.
The CD brings together celebrated choruses from the operatic repertoire, with excerpts from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Lohengrin by Richard Wagner, and from The Bartered Bride by Bedřich Smetana. It includes «Wachet auf» and the «Hochzeitschor» from Lohengrin, as well as the chorus from Fürst Igor by Aleksandr Borodin, with the choruses in their original languages.
