«Maracaibo Latino Beat» is the 12-inch single by Spanish band La Unión, released in 1989 on WEA.
The release centres on the track «Maracaibo», presented in extended and remixed versions that accentuate the danceable side of Spanish pop with Latin rhythms and Europop. The cover reinforces that visual identity with a footballer lifting a trophy beneath the group's title.
Spanish edition on 12-inch vinyl at 45 RPM, catalogue number 246759-0 and legal deposit M-24339-1989.
For collectors of Spanish pop and fans of late-eighties dance remixes.
