«La Pastorella, 7 concertos» is the album by Antonio Vivaldi, released in 2001 by Musique D'abord, on CD.
The disc brings together seven chamber concertos by Vivaldi, in a Baroque style with a pastoral air, in which the soloists dialogue with the ensemble. It is a sample of the Venetian composer's chamber repertoire, with agile readings that underline the dialogue between the instruments.
Performers include Marion Verbruggen (recorder), Paul Goodwin (oboe), John Holloway (violin), Dennis Godburn (bassoon), John Toll (harpsichord) and Sebastian Comberti (cello).
For fans of Baroque music and chamber concertos.
