«Journey to the Centre of the Earth» is the live album by Rick Wakeman, released in 1974 on A&M Records, on vinyl LP.
Recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 18 January 1974, it adapts Jules Verne's novel to symphonic rock: the expedition to the centre of the Earth, with the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Choir and narration by David Hemmings. It is a single piece divided into two parts for the vinyl.
A single LP. It reached number 1 on the UK album chart and was certified gold in September 1974. This edition is the 1986 Spanish reissue.
