«Exotic Birds and Fruit» is the eighth studio album by Procol Harum, reissued in 2009 by Salvo on CD.
Eighth studio album by Procol Harum, originally released in 1974, with a more immediate, guitar-driven sound than the orchestrations of their previous releases. Gary Brooker's compositions and Keith Reid's lyrics shine on tracks like «Nothing But the Truth», «The Thin End of the Wedge» and «Fresh Fruit».
Remastered CD reissue from the original master tapes, with two bonus tracks (one previously unreleased) and a booklet with liner notes. Part of the Procol Harum 40 Years series.
Will appeal to fans of progressive and symphonic rock from the seventies and to followers of Procol Harum.
