«Aladdin» is the soundtrack album of the 1992 Disney animated film, with Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, on CD released in 1993.
The soundtrack combines the film's songs with instrumental passages from Alan Menken's score, with lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. The Genie's comic tone alternates with the story of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine; standout numbers include «A Whole New World» and «Friend Like Me», the latter in the version performed by Robin Williams.
French CD edition of one disc, released by Walt Disney Records with catalogue number WDR 36007-2.
