«A Voyage to Africa» is a compilation album of electronic ambient music released in 2006 by Digimode Entertainment Ltd. on CD.
The album brings together ambient tracks remixed with native African sounds, creating a relaxing sonic proposal that evokes the savannah and the continent's landscapes. The cover, featuring an African woman carrying a child on her back against an open sky, reinforces that travelling atmosphere.
Reissue of «A Voyage to Africa», originally released in 1999; the album contains one disc and the Dolby Surround Pro Logic logo on the cover.
For those who enjoy ambient and new age music, especially with an interest in African sounds and landscapes.
