«Vajont» is the Italian drama film directed by Renzo Martinelli (2002), starring Michel Serrault, Daniel Auteuil and Laura Morante, on DVD.
The film approaches the disaster that occurred in the Vajont valley in 1963: a landslide in the reservoir caused a giant wave that swept away several towns and caused thousands of deaths. The story combines the reconstruction of events with the lives of those trapped by the tragedy.
D.N.C. edition, in colour, with Italian audio in Dolby Digital 5.1, subtitles in English and Italian, 96 minutes and region 2.
For fans of historical cinema and reconstructions of real disasters.
