«Tommy Tiernan: Bovinity» is Tommy Tiernan's live comedy special, directed by Maurice Linnane and released on DVD in 2008.
The DVD captures Tommy Tiernan's solo show recorded at the Marquee in Cork, the final stop of his «Bovinity» tour, before 4,000 audience members. The Irish comedian argues that the essence of comedy is moving away from respectability. The disc adds «The Bovinity Tour», a documentary collage with footage from various stops on the tour around Ireland.
The «Bovinity» tour drew over 120,000 audience members and included 56 nights at Vicar Street, Dublin. Beaumex released the special on a single-disc DVD with the recording in English.
A title for fans of stand-up and live comedy with a provocative, theatrical style.
