«Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood» is the animated musical film by Sid Smith (1965), starring Liza Minnelli, Cyril Ritchard and Vic Damone, on DVD.
It recreates the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood as an animated musical narrated from the wolf's point of view: the action takes place in a retro-styled forest and the songs are performed by The Animals and the film's main cast.
Single-disc edition, imported from the UK and in PAL format, with original English audio and 50 minutes of runtime; released on 12 November 2007. Parental guidance: PG.
Aimed at family audiences and those seeking classic-style animated musicals.
