«Seadrift» is the documentary film by Tim Tsai (2020), starring Diane Wilson, Steve Pham and Ron Galloway, on DVD.
In 1979, the arrival of Vietnamese refugees in Seadrift, a small fishing town in Texas, triggers tensions that erupt after the murder of a local fisherman at the hands of one of the newcomers. The documentary reconstructs the conflict, the racism and the slow search for reconciliation in a community marked by the Vietnam War, combining archival material and current interviews.
