«Scary Movie» is the comedy film by Keenen Ivory Wayans (2000), starring Anna Faris, Marlon Wayans and Carmen Electra, on DVD.
Comedy that parodies horror cinema and slashers: a group of teenagers is chased by a masked killer in a succession of absurd situations and gross-out gags. The film recreates and ridicules the genre's clichés, with explicit references to classics like Scream and to the youth culture of the time.
Running time: 88 minutes. Audio in English and French (Dolby Digital 5.1) with Spanish subtitles. DVD edition, single disc, widescreen 2.35:1.
Suitable for an adult audience: contains gross humour, parodic violence and explicit sexual content, in the vein of 2000s gross-out comedy.
