«Saura (s)» is the documentary by Félix Viscarret (2017), with Carlos Saura and Eulàlia Ramon, on DVD.
Félix Viscarret approaches Carlos Saura with the intention of making a film portrait through conversations with his seven children. They all agree, but Saura does not want to talk about the past: he prefers painting and photography. Viscarret insists, and that tug-of-war between what some want to tell and what Saura reveals runs through the documentary.
The DVD includes sound in Spanish (Dolby Digital 2.0), English subtitles, one disc and PAL format zone 2. Distributed by Cameo. Nominated for the Goya for Best Documentary Film.
Aimed at those interested in Carlos Saura, documentary cinema and the memory of Spanish cinema.
