Martin Bristol, a boy who disappeared from his home at the age of three, becomes an involuntary witness to the crimes of a ruthless killer. Years later, in September 1999, a group of robbers—Julian, Marylin, Max, and Kurt—plan a heist to solve their financial problems. After a car accident during their escape, they hide in an isolated house, unaware that it is the site of gruesome secrets. As the gang members begin to disappear without a trace, they find themselves trapped in a nightmare from which they cannot escape.
