«Los secretos de la tumba perdida» is the archaeology documentary directed by Simon Young in 2006, released by Discovery Channel on DVD.
The documentary follows an international team of archaeologists who, in the Valley of the Kings and less than 50 metres from Tutankhamun's tomb, locate a stone chamber with painted sarcophagi and artefacts. Throughout the investigation, it is asked whether the mummies inside may be linked to the pharaoh and whether the find could rewrite the history of ancient Egypt.
It lasts 45 minutes, with 16:9 picture and audio in Castilian Spanish and English; subtitles in German. Original title: «Egypt's New Tomb Revealed». Produced by Atlantic Productions for Discovery Networks Europe.
For enthusiasts of Egyptology and archaeology documentaries about ancient Egypt.
