«Little Princess: Volume 1» is the DVD of the children's animated series directed by Edward Foster (2007), featuring the voices of Jane Horrocks and Julian Clary.
Little Princess is a curious, determined and sometimes stubborn little girl who lives in a castle with her parents and a varied group of servants and friends. Each episode starts from everyday childhood situations, such as going to bed, tidying the room or wearing new shoes, and resolves them with humour, tenderness and imagination, with a positive message.
The DVD includes 10 episodes, lasts about 112 minutes and has English audio. It is a Region 2 edition and has a Universal rating, suitable for all ages.
For young children and for family enjoyment, especially if they already know Tony Ross's children's books.
