In the film, Guido, a Jewish waiter with a boundless imagination, turns his stay in a concentration camp into a great game to protect his son from the horror during World War II. With humour and fantasy, he keeps hope alive; a drama that balances comedy and tragedy in a story of a father's unconditional love.
