«La rebelión de los cuentos» is the animated film based on the work of Roald Dahl, directed by Jan Lachauer (2018), on DVD.
Adaptation of Revolting Rhymes, by Roald Dahl, produced by the team behind The Gruffalo and The Stick Man. It takes classic characters and tales and turns them upside down with surprising twists, wry humour and contemporary nods, always with a tone close to children.
58-minute film, published by T-Sunami and rated as not recommended for children under 7. Languages: Spanish, Catalan and English (subtitled).
Its ironic humour and revision of classic tales make it appealing both to children aged 7 and up and to adults.
