«Juno» is the film by Jason Reitman (2007), starring Ellen Page, Michael Cera and Jennifer Garner, on DVD.
Juno McGuff, a sixteen-year-old teenager with a singular character and a sharp tongue, becomes pregnant after a casual relationship with her friend Bleeker. Far from being intimidated, she decides to find a couple to adopt her child and, between encounters, family and school, discovers a path as uncomfortable as it is fun towards her own maturity, with mordant dialogue and uncommon honesty.
Published by Twentieth Century Fox, with subtitles in French, English and Italian. Won the 2008 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
An independent comedy that will suit those who value teenage stories with their own voice and dialogue far from conventionalism.
