«Journey to the Far Side of the Sun» is the science fiction film by Robert Parrish starring Roy Thinnes, Ian Hendry and Lynn Loring, on DVD.
A European space agency finds a planet in the same orbit as Earth, on the far side of the Sun, and sends two astronauts. After a forced landing, both believe they have returned home; in reality they set foot on a world that is an exact replica of Earth, a mirror double. The film builds psychological suspense on that duality.
Universal Pictures UK edition for region 2, with widescreen 1.85:1 picture and original English sound (mono). English subtitles; no Spanish options. Rated PG in the UK.
For fans of Gerry Anderson (Thunderbirds) and twin-planet plots with psychological suspense.
