Jesse Stone: Night Passage is a mystery-drama film that serves as a prequel to the Jesse Stone novel series. After being fired from the Los Angeles Police Department, Jesse Stone is recruited to become the police chief of Paradise, a small town on Boston's North Shore. The town board hopes his troubled past will keep him from digging too deep into the town's secrets, but Stone soon finds himself entangled in a complex web of corruption and cover-ups.
Directed by Robert Harmon and starring Tom Selleck, this television production explores the beginnings of the iconic detective as he battles his own personal demons and confronts a network of local secrets. With a tense atmosphere and a strong cast, the film offers an intriguing look at a man trying to redeem himself while seeking the truth in an apparently quiet setting.
