«Home, ¿Dulce hogar?» is the film by Ursula Meier (2008), starring Isabelle Huppert and Olivier Gourmet, on DVD.
A married couple and their three children live next to an abandoned motorway, where they have built a quiet, isolated home. When the road reopens to traffic, constant noise invades their life and threatens their harmony. Determined not to leave, the family clings to their house and takes increasingly extreme measures to preserve their particular way of life.
Switzerland submitted it as its candidate for the 2010 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. Distributed by Karma Films; not recommended for under-12s.
For viewers seeking a family drama with an unsettling atmosphere and for fans of Isabelle Huppert.
