«Fröhliches Madagascar» is the 2009 animated Christmas special from DreamWorks Animation, released on DVD.
Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria, the animal stars of the Madagascar saga, discover that Santa's sleigh has crashed on their island and that Santa has lost his memory. To keep Christmas from being ruined, they decide to take his place and deliver the presents around the world, with DreamWorks' usual zany humour.
The edition includes the 27-minute special and the additional short «Weihnachtsstreiche mit den Pinguinen». Audio in German, English, Italian and Spanish in Dolby Digital 5.1, with subtitles in those four languages.
For children and family audiences: a Christmas adventure from DreamWorks suitable for all ages.
