In May 1944, a commando of five female paratroopers arrives in occupied France to protect the secret of the D-Day landings and eliminate Colonel Heindrich, head of German counterintelligence. Louise, an expert sniper and widow of a Resistance leader; Jeanne, a tough prostitute; Gaëlle, an explosives expert; Suzy, a former chorus girl and former lover of Heindrich; and Maria, an Italian countess and secret agent, form this group of spies. This film is an action-packed tribute to the spies whose exploits inspired the story.
