«El Diluvio Universal» is the National Geographic documentary investigating the possible real origin of the biblical flood, published by Llamentol S.L. on DVD.
The documentary starts from the accounts of Genesis and the Epic of Gilgamesh to contrast them with the hypothesis of geologists Bill Ryan and Walter Pitman, who place a great flood in the Black Sea basin. Oceanographer Robert Ballard searches the continental shelf for remains of human settlements that would support that the biblical flood could have been a real event.
With an approximate duration of 60 minutes, the DVD includes the original English version and the Spanish dub. Rating: suitable for all audiences.
It will appeal to fans of scientific and historical popularisation and National Geographic documentaries.
