Dan Dark, a hard-boiled novelist confined to a hospital, mixes painful memories and marital failure with film noir fantasies: gangsters and musical numbers. The doctors attending him seem deranged, and his wife may be conspiring to steal his manuscript. Only a nurse and an eccentric doctor try to rescue him from his delirium.
Running time 113 minutes. Audio in English and Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1) and Spanish (DTS 5.1). Subtitles in Spanish and English. Best actor award for Robert Downey Jr. at Sitges 2003.
