A government secret agent, Muska, accompanies a girl named Sheeta to the Tedis fortress. Suddenly the ship is attacked by pirates who, like the government, seek the secret of the magic levitation stone that Sheeta wears around her neck. The stone is the key that will open the doors of La Fortaleza Celeste, a floating island in the middle of the sky created by a mysterious race that long ago disappeared from the planet. Pazu, a young boy, befriends Sheeta, helps her escape her pursuers, and together they set out to solve the mystery of the Celestial Fortress. When Sheeta and Pazu begin their journey to the Celestial Fortress, they set in motion a chain of irreversible events. In this mysterious place they will find a treasure much greater than the power to rule the world.
