The documentary argues that, besides the famous Normandy landings, there were other D-Days in the Pacific. Across three episodes, it covers the Allied amphibious campaign between 1942 and 1945, from Guadalcanal to Okinawa, and analyses the successes and failures of Americans and Japanese in operations such as Tarawa, New Guinea or the Philippines.
2-DVD edition in Spanish, Region 2 and PAL. Includes the extra The Battle of Burma (full film).
Will appeal to fans of military history and World War II documentaries.
