«Death Proof» is the film by Quentin Tarantino (2007), starring Kurt Russell, on DVD.
The film is part of the Grindhouse project, which pays homage to the exploitation cinema of the 1970s. With a retro, worn aesthetic, it combines action, suspense and violence; the motif of the classic car and the silhouettes of six women hark back to that cinematic tradition.
This is the special 2-disc edition, with the extended, unrated version. It was part of the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival.
A film for fans of Quentin Tarantino and 1970s exploitation cinema.
