In the year 2019, a plague has turned most of the world's population into vampires. As the remaining humans are hunted for their blood, scientist Edward Dalton works desperately to create a synthetic substitute to prevent the extinction of both species. However, the discovery of a potential cure triggers a brutal war between those who wish to regain their humanity and those who prefer to maintain their vampiric nature. This DVD edition features a dystopian, action-packed vision directed by the Spierig brothers and starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, and Sam Neill.
