«Corazones indomables» (Drums Along the Mohawk) is the John Ford film (1939), starring Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert, on DVD.
In 1776, Lana and Gilbert, a married couple of settlers, settle in the Mohawk Valley. The War of Independence and coexistence with indigenous peoples turn their home into a hostile front: the destruction of their house and Gilbert's departure to fight the English force them to take refuge in a nearby fort.
The 20th Century Fox collector's edition runs 104 minutes and is in colour. The film received two Oscar nominations: Best Supporting Actress (Edna May Oliver) and Best Colour Cinematography.
