«Control Room» is the documentary about the Al Jazeera news channel and its coverage of the Iraq war, released on DVD.
The documentary follows Al Jazeera journalists during the 2003 invasion of Iraq and shows how they work in their newsroom. Through interviews, it contrasts the perspective of the Arab channel with that of Western media and reflects on how the same war is constructed from opposing versions.
Distributed by Magnolia Home Entertainment.
A work for those interested in journalism, Arab media, and coverage of international conflicts.
