«Alcaldesa» is a documentary directed by Pau Faus and released by Cameo on DVD.
The work records the process that took Ada Colau from activism to the mayoralty of Barcelona: the birth of the Barcelona en Comú candidacy, the electoral campaign and the day of her inauguration. Through a video diary by Colau herself and access to the backstage of the campaign, the film combines the chronicle of a historic political victory with an intimate dimension.
The DVD lasts 88 minutes; the audio is in Spanish (Dolby Digital 2.0) and Catalan, with subtitles in Spanish and English.
A work for those interested in activism, municipal politics and social movements.
