«À boire» is the film by Marion Vernoux (2004), starring Emmanuelle Béart, Édouard Baer and Atmen Kelif, on DVD.
Inès Larue is abandoned by her partner at a ski resort and, at 2,800 metres above sea level, must cope with a situation that swings between the desperate and the comic. Chance encounters with other characters and the film's sharp humour lead her to reflect on loneliness and the possibility of starting over.
The edition, published by CNC Films, is region 2, with French audio and no declared subtitles.
For those who enjoy sharp French humour and stories of redemption in the snow.
