Jack Mosley, a down-and-out New York City detective, is assigned the task of escorting a key witness, a small-time criminal named Eddie Bunker, from a police station to the courthouse—a journey of just 16 blocks. What seems like a simple task turns into a race against time and a fight for survival when corrupt forces attempt to prevent the witness from reaching his destination to testify. This intense action film, directed by Richard Donner and starring Bruce Willis, Mos Def, and David Morse, delivers a gripping story about redemption and integrity in a hostile environment.
